Handmade Damascus Steel Knives — VG10 Core, Unique Forged Patterns
Every knife in this collection is handmade from start to finish. The blade steel is VG10 — a premium Japanese high-carbon stainless steel used in professional chef knives and high-end EDC blades. Around that VG10 core, layers of high-carbon Damascus steel are forge-welded, folded, and acid-etched to reveal the flowing water-wave pattern that makes every Damascus blade unique. No two knives in this collection look exactly alike.
Layer counts range from 67 to 107+ across the collection. Higher layer counts produce finer, more intricate patterns — but every blade in the range carries the same fundamental quality: a hard cutting edge with flexible outer layers that resist brittleness and absorb impact.
Handle materials include rosewood, abalone shell, natural ox bone, brass bolsters, and ebony in floral and mosaic finishes. Each combination produces a different aesthetic — from the warm, classic look of rosewood to the iridescent colour-shift of abalone shell.
