Every belt sold by Fair Impex is cut from full grain buffalo hide — not top grain, not genuine leather, not bonded leather. Full grain buffalo leather is the strongest, most durable belt material available. The entire outer grain surface of the hide remains intact, giving the leather natural water resistance, tensile strength that outlasts the stitching, and the ability to develop a deep, rich patina unique to each belt.

Buffalo hide has a tighter fiber structure than cattle leather, which means it resists stretch and deformation better under daily belt tension. Our belts are semi-vegetable tanned using traditional methods, then finished by hand — whether as pull-up oil wax leather, hand-waxed vintage leather, or smooth burnished leather. No synthetic coatings, no layered bonding. These are buy-once belts.

Maverick — Pull-Up Oil Wax Leather. Our pull-up leather belts use a wax-oil tanning process that creates a natural lightening at flex and crease points. The buckle is removable — snap-style interchangeable — letting you pair the belt strap with any of our 150 plus belt buckles. Best for casual wear, western wear, outdoor use.

Frontier — Full Grain Smooth Finish. Classic single-piece full grain buffalo leather with a smooth, burnished surface. Versatile enough for dress trousers or dark jeans. Available in black, brown, dark brown, and tan.

Rodeo — Western Tooled and Embossed. Stamped, tooled, or embossed with western patterns. Pairs perfectly with our western and folding knife belt buckles for a complete western look.

Picasso — Artisan Hand-Dyed. Each Picasso belt is individually hand-dyed or hand-painted, making every belt a one-of-a-kind piece.

Measure from the fold of the buckle end to the hole you most commonly use on your current belt. Order that measurement as your belt size. All belts come with 5 adjustment holes. Custom sizes available on request.

Q: Will the belt stretch over time?
A: Full grain buffalo leather has minimal stretch compared to bonded or genuine leather. You may find the leather softens slightly with break-in wear, which is normal.

Q: Can I use these belts with any belt buckle?
A: Our Maverick and most other collection belt straps use a standard snap-style interchangeable buckle system, compatible with all Fair Impex belt buckles and most standard western buckles.

Q: How long does a Fair Impex belt last?
A: With regular conditioning, a full grain buffalo leather belt from Fair Impex lasts 10 to 20 years or more under daily use.
