At 107 layers, this knife has the most detailed, tightly-woven Damascus pattern in the Fair Impex collection — a level of refinement that takes significantly more time and skill to achieve than standard 33 or 67-layer blades.

The VG10 core runs through the center, providing the cutting edge and hardness. The 107 Damascus layers surrounding it are forge-welded, acid-etched, and finished to reveal a pattern that looks almost like flowing water or wood grain. No two blades produced this way look exactly alike.

What Is Damascus Steel?

Damascus steel is forged by folding and welding multiple layers of high-carbon steel together, then acid-etching the blade to reveal the flowing, wave-like pattern unique to each knife.
