This VG10-core Damascus folding knife pairs a genuine layered Damascus blade with a striking natural abalone shell handle. Every piece is one of a kind — no two abalone panels and no two Damascus blades are ever identical.

The Damascus pattern is real — not printed, etched-on, or engraved

The flowing pattern on this blade is not printed, etched onto the surface, or engraved. It is formed by forge-welded layers of steel clad around a VG10 core — the pattern runs through the metal itself, which is why no two blades are ever the same. The VG10 core (HRC 60–62) gives the edge its hardness and corrosion resistance; the layered cladding gives the blade its strength and its distinctive flowing pattern, which is revealed by acid etching.

Handle

Natural abalone shell set in resin — each one unique, with its own iridescent shell pattern of greens, blues and pinks. The resin provides a smooth, durable, comfortable grip.

Free laser engraving (optional personalization)

Add a name, initials, date or short message to the blade at no extra charge. This optional personalization is completely separate from the Damascus pattern — if you choose it, it is laser-marked onto the finished blade.
