VG10 — Vanax Gold 10 — is a Japanese premium stainless steel that achieves 60-62 HRC hardness while maintaining enough toughness to resist chipping. Around that core, multiple layers of high-carbon Damascus steel are forge-welded, providing the flowing pattern, added toughness, and visual character.
